Deep within the heart of Mount Vanth, close to its volcanic heart, is the little room where the eggs are incubated. It's swelteringly hot and smells vaguely like sulphur, but it's nonetheless guarged constantly against would-be thieves or vandals. The guard also has the job of alerting the rest of the den when an egg shows signs of hatching, and he does this using a complicated system of ropes and bells that reaches every part of Kalum. The eggs themselves are arranged on padded wooden shelves against the wall.
